Musings on the Capricorn Full Moon
Welcome to the Capricorn Full Moon!
This supermoon rolls in with a punch on Wednesday at 2:37pm EST. It isn't just the sun and moon dancing off each other this cycle -
Pluto's involved; so is Mercury, Uranus and Chiron, while Neptune and Venus are entwined in their own dance.
With so many different planetary energies at play, there can feel an uncomfortable edge to this full moon. As if we're meeting our own edges - the inner limits of our own container.
Of where we block ourselves, of what roadblocks seemingly lay in front of us.
We may forge ahead with the perseverance and determination to move mountains one minute - only to be met with our deepest fears, our deepest vulnerabilities the next.
We may listen to the defeating chatter our mind tells us - feel as if we're drowning in the sorrows of the world. That there's an insurmountable amount of work to be done. That can't possibly get done...
We may feel bombarded with old stories - wounds from our past bubbling to the surface. Feelings that no one understands our personal battles, the pain we feel - and the isolation that comes from inhabiting those depths.
We may meet our inner critic that doubts the path we are creating for ourselves, that doubts our own capabilities to even walk it.
That we are traversing two worlds - the excitement of what is possible - and what happens if we fail.
And yet... we meet these stories. These feelings. These doubts and fears, criticisms and deceptions.
We remember that they come with the territory of being human. That where our power lies is in how much weight we give them.
If we believe them.
If we see our wounds as our weakness rather than the source of our greatest strength.
If we see our pain as failure rather than as the achievement it is for experiencing all of life.
If we see our inner critic as our foe rather than our wisest ally.
Here to spur us on. Here to remind us of how much more powerful we are than 'that voice'. Here to remind us of our determination to be exactly who we are.
To take the wisdom inherited from our hardships, our inner critic, and thank it with the deepest gratitude for making us the boss we are today.
That we came here to be.
That we will always be.
Much love always,
Xx Faye
