In this four-part workshop series, come take a deep dive into the feminine archetypes* in astrology and how to use them in your life for self-exploration.
Astrology at its core is a tool to enrich our lives and help us through our struggles. In this series, discover how to connect with these archetypes that live within each of us so you can start to work with them as a tool in your own life.
This workshop series isn’t about getting inundated with information about signs and planets (but of course there will be some of that!). Using astrology, myth and stories, this series is about learning to understand and embody these feminine archetypes and begin to witness how they manifest in you.
Let the wisdom of these feminine archetypes guide you in your journey of self-exploration and all that lies waiting to be discovered within.

Week 1: The Phases of the Moon
The wisdom of each phase of the moon cycle provides so much insight into our own nature - reminding us that we are a part of nature. Exploring the phases of the moon, and the gifts each phase provides us with, this workshop will leave you with a deeper understanding of the moon’s cycles, and how to start working with the inherent wisdom of cyclical living in your own life. *Note, not a necessary prerequisite but this provides a background to the other workshops in the series*
Week 2: Venus, The Maiden
Representing the new/crescent moon in the moon cycle, and The Maiden archetype, this workshop explores the planet Venus in all her multifaceted beauty. One of what’s called our “personal planets”, learn what this luscious, pleasure-filled feminine archetype is all about in astrology and begin to explore how you experience her in your own life and actions.
Week 3: Moon, The Mother
Representing the full moon in the moon cycle, and The Mother archetype, this workshop explores the moon in all her wisdom and glory. The Moon is a central figure in astrology, providing glimpses into our unconscious and how to nurture ourselves - how to mother ourselves. Learn what this divine feminine archetype is all about and begin to explore how she manifests within you.
Week 4: Lilith, The Crone
Representing the dark moon phase in the moon cycle, and The Crone archetype, this workshop explores the widely misunderstood and misconstrued archetype of the asteroid, Lilith. Representing parts of ourselves that are often repressed or disowned, and yet hold our inherent power, this workshop explores all things waiting for us in the dark - sexuality, anger, power. Learn what this wise, powerful feminine archetype has to teach us and begin to explore how to embrace both the light and the dark within each of us.
P.S. This is not limited to women! All beings have both feminine and masculine energies within them. This has nothing to do with gender, let's be clear on that :)
* did I just throw jargon at you? Whoops! Archetypes are universal patterns, motifs or energies that lie within each of us. One definition is - “Archetype - A universal pattern of behaviours that once discovered, helps people better understand themselves and others”

A Workshop
The Grand Conjunction of Saturn and Jupiter in Aquarius.
As we've seen old, outdated ways begin to crumble this past year, it's right on cue that on the December 21st, the Winter Solstice and the return of light (in the Northern hemisphere) we enter a New Era as these two planets 'meet' in the sky - the closest they've come together in 397 years!
This is the first time in hundreds of years that these two planets will be entering a new element (Air), signifying the beginning of a new way of being both for us personally, and for us as a collective.
In this workshop we will:
- Learn about the characteristics and energies of Saturn and Jupiter and how we may be experiencing these energies (and their profound impact on 2020)
- What it means that these planets are leaving the Earth element after 200 years and now entering the Air element (and its potential future impacts)
- Talk about ways to work with this potent energy!
This truly marks the beginning of a new age, a new way of being, and I for one want to be an active part in shaping it! You?

Exploring the Heart: A Yin Yoga Workshop
As we sink into the heart of winter and the season of love, come warm up through an afternoon of exploring the heart through Yin Yoga and Traditional Chinese Medicine.
In this workshop we will:
Learn about the heart meridian and Fire element in Traditional Chinese Medicine and how that appears in our daily lives
Talk about signs that the heart meridian may be out of balance, and natural ways to bring it back into balance
Be led through a heart-focused yin yoga class that will increase the flow of energy through your heart and entire body
Finish with a guided Yoga Nidra meditation to allow the benefits of the yin practice to fully sink in, while lulling you into a deep state of relaxation
