July Astrology Forecast 2025

Welcome to the July Forecast!

A month of reviews and the new. While three planets go retrograde this month (!), the much hyped Uranus moving into Gemini will bring a totally different energy. Retrogrades want us to slow down - Uranus entering Gemini definitely wants anything but, ha! But we live in a world of paradox and get to learn how to ride the waves between the two. The best way to do so? Listen to your internal compass. If slow and rest and reassessments are a resounding ‘YES’ within, trust that. If the building blocks of your life are ready to be knocked down and be rebuilt in a totally new way, trust that! It’s an exciting time, but like any true growth, there may be some necessary growing pains.

Friday July 4 - Venus conjunct Uranus in Taurus

In her final hours in Taurus, Venus joins powerhouse Uranus to bring a different flavour to this usually slow and soft sign. It's an electric, eclectic combo. Together Venus and Uranus demand change. We want to be valued and seen in our individuality, in our uniqueness. We no longer have the tolerance for people, relationships, systems that hold us down. Something’s been nagging at you? You’ll like feel the powerful urge to finally do/say something about it. We’re reminded we get to shape and shift our lives - but sometimes we have to jump out of our comfort zones. And that’s usually a very good thing ;)

                - Venus enters Gemini

Right after her dance with Uranus, Venus moves into Gemini to bring a little flirt and flare into our days. A little extra dose of connection and play. All night gabfests and deep dive searches on anything and everything you've ever wanted to know await. It's a time to lead from curiosity, from connection. A time to nourish ourselves with belly laughs and stimulating conversations - a time to remember the lighter side of life.

Saturday July 5 - Neptune stations retrograde

Back for his yearly retrograde, Neptune stations retrograde for the first time in Aries and lets us assess what exactly has been dreaming in our inner landscapes, dissolving in our lives over these last months. A slow and steady retrograde, we feel it less drastically in our lives. But retrogrades are always a valuable time to assess and review what's shifting, evolving and emerging in our lives.

Monday July 7 - Uranus enters Gemini - the biggie!

Alrighty! This is one of the major astrological happenings this year (among a year of many!). Uranus leaves Taurus having spent the last eight years there and brings a totally new energy with it. Uranus is the Revolutionary, the Rebel, the Eclectic Eccentric. Uranus appears on the scene when change is not only necessary, but demanded. Like a flash of lightning, sudden shakeups and unexpected shocks enter the domain. It's the classic "expect the unexpected". A time for surges of creative thinking and how we might possibly envision a new way forward.

I always kinda like writing about Uranus because it's as if I can feel him thinking "really? you think you can predict what I will bring?" ;) So as Uranus moves in Gemini, there will be a shift. I'm hoping towards the people (Gemini = connection). It will light up the Gemini part in our charts in a whole new revolutionary way. Our tolerance for what has been may no longer be tolerated. There might be an impatience, a restlessness for the new, for change, now. And as it is the sign of the twins, there will inevitably be a shadow side too. Gemini can be known for its superficiality and surface-skimming ways - preferring to keep it light and breezy rather than enter the depths of the Truth. So I'll be watching, as all astrologers will be, about how this will play out. Uranus is in Gemini until 2033 - I wonder what the world will look like then... I hope the revoluntionaries have had their time.

Thursday July 10 - Capricorn Full Moon  - stay tuned for the moon musing!

Sunday July 13 - Saturn in Aries stations retrograde

Saturn stations retrograde and we again have a chance to pause, to review. But this time in Saturn's realm. How are the foundations in our lives supporting us? Are they cracking? Are they solid as can be? Are they going through a renovation? Have you noticed any changes in your life, your work, your desires since Saturn moved into Aries at the end of May? Get curious and if things feel as if they're slowing down from a frantic pace - let that be a gift of this time to carry you forward.

Thursday July 18 - Mercury stations retrograde in Leo

Joining the retrograde party, Mercury's time is back! (but didn't we just finish? pretty much). Retrograde until August 11th, here we are cosmically encouraged to take a pause, take a seat, and tune into our inner worlds and inner workings. And of course, the much hyped 'everything is delayed and doesn't work and will probably break'.. personally I think it's time to change the story around mercury retrogrades ;) But while in Leo - how are we letting our hearts lead us? Do we speak what's true within? Do we have the courage to say what needs to be said? And if not, maybe this is the perfect time to explore what is holding us back. The world needs more heart-led voices. Let yours be one of them!

Tuesday July 22 - Sun enters Leo (sextile Uranus)

The sun leaves its watery domain in Cancer to burst onto the scene renewed and ready to bring some passionate fire to our days. While in Leo we remember what it means to let loose and play a little (or hopefully, a LOT!). We tune into the Creator part of us and allow it to be expressed fully, in whatever way without judgement (finger painting anyone?). We connect back to that part of ourselves that sees the world through the awe and wonder of a child's eyes. We remember that that part of ourselves lives within us always. That joy is a birth right - and sometimes our hardest work in life is to remember that.

Thursday July 24 - Leo New Moon - stay tuned for the moon musing!

Wednesday July 30 - Venus enters Cancer

Venus whizzes through Gemini (predictably, ha!), and lands in soft, sensual Cancer. Here our needs become that much more evident, more pressing. More needy ;) We crave the familiar and the comforting. We feel all the feels, making us feel both gloriously alive and painstakingly vulnerable. We yearn to connect with those we hold dear, to bring relief to those in pain. And we can definitely spiral into crabbiness if we feel our needs or wants aren't getting met. It's a tender, sensitive time - but isn't that a beautiful thing?

Have a great month!
Xx Faye
